Dreadspire Uppers (16-20) Guide!
Here's my handy cheat sheet for tackling the upper floors of DS. It is continuously updated as I play and won't be complete until I clear floor 20. Keep in mind that these are my personal notes from a mystic POV, so your class might not have any tips. Good for general use though. Thanks!
Floor 16 - Hrathgol
Mystic General Fight
- Drop a ton of MP motes for yourself since you will need to heal a LOT
- Drop HP motes in the middle for help with healing debuff, and some in the outer ring for after jelly hits
- Lock on heal the tank at the start of the fight until everyone's settled in
- Always keep your eyes on the boss and stand far enough to heal everyone and give auras
DoT Debuff - 80,60,40,20
General
Mystic
- Hits the three closest members to the boss
- Warrior's shadow can take a debuff
- Reaper can use Retribution to skip the debuff
- Sorcerer can take the debuff and use stone skin to ignore the effects temporarily
Mystic
- Place Thrall of Vengeance close to the boss to take debuff
- Place Totem close to reduce damage on the other person who took the debuff
- Heal him like crazy
Jellies - Floating Mobs
General
- The boss will focus a player for a moment, you will have a red aggro circle
- The jellies will then chase the random person until they stop moving then drop a DoT pool under their feet
- If more than one pool is placed on you, you might die
- The trick is to stop for a moment, then dodge the attack
